Robert MacFarlane (tenor) and Aleksandr Tsiboulski (guitar) will present new and old music:
- Alec Roth - My Lute and I (Australian Premiere) - Lute songs from the late rennaisance and baroque: John Dowland, Robert Johnson, William Lawes, Henry Purcell, etc.
- Bach - one of the six Cello Suites (arr. Stephen Snook) (of course coming from the daily music collection of Anna Magdalena Bach)
- Bach - Geistliche Lieder from the Schemelli and Anna Magdalena Gesangsbücher
- Argento - Bach (from Letters to Composers - a wonderful setting of a letter Bach wrote to the town council of Leipzig asking for money - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXXG_8J_kDA)
Robert MacFarlane studied at the Elder Conservatorium in Adelaide and the Hochschule für Musik, Leipzig 'Felix Mendelssohn-Bartoldy' with Prof. Dr. Jeanette Favaro-Reuter, where he studied as recipient of the prestigious Thomas Elder Overseas Scholarship. He undertook extensive study of the Baroque repertoire with Tenor Howard Crook and has also studied and performed with world-renowned accompanist Malcolm Martineau. Robert Macfarlane was the winner of the Adelaide Critic’s Circle award for best individual performance in 2012 (Bach- St. John Passion), a finalist in the Lortzing Competition in Germany in 2013, and winner of the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Aria competition in 2009.

Josh van Konkelenberg will be performing the Goldberg variations on the Church organ. The concert is entitled "Goldberg – variations by JS Bach".
Joshua van Konkelenberg studied piano at the University of Adelaide between 2001 and 2003 with Stefan Ammer and Lucinda Collins, and then at the Australian National Academy of Music with Ian Munro and Rita Reichman. In 2004, he was awarded First Class Honours in Composition. Joshua was awarded the Walford. E. Davies Prize for Dux of the Organ Faculty at the Royal College of Music, and has been the recipient of grants from the Australia Council for the Arts and the Ian Potter Cultural Trust, a University of Adelaide Medal for Outstanding Academic Achievement, and an Australian Postgraduate Award.
